Al Baqarah 81 - 90

81
ﺑَﻠٰﻰ ﻣَﻦْ ﻛَﺴَﺐَ ﺳَﻴِّﺌَﺔً ﻭَّﺍَﺣَﺎﻃَﺖْ ﺑِﻪٖ
ﺧَﻄِﻴْۤـَٔﺘُﻪٗ ﻓَﺎُﻭﻟٰۤﻯِٕﻚَ ﺍَﺻْﺤٰﺐُ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺭِ ۚ ﻫُﻢْ ﻓِﻴْﻬَﺎ
ﺧٰﻠِﺪُﻭْﻥَ
balā mang kasaba sayyi`ataw wa `aḥāṭat bihī
khaṭī`atuhụ fa ulā`ika aṣ-ḥābun-nār, hum
fīhā khālidụn
Not so! Whoever does evil,and his sins have drowned him,then they are the dwellers of hell.
They remain in it.
82
ﻭَﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﺍٰﻣَﻨُﻮْﺍ ﻭَﻋَﻤِﻠُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟﺼّٰﻠِﺤٰﺖِ ﺍُﻭﻟٰۤﻯِٕﻚَ
ﺍَﺻْﺤٰﺐُ ﺍﻟْﺠَﻨَّﺔِ ۚ ﻫُﻢْ ﻓِﻴْﻬَﺎ ﺧٰﻠِﺪُﻭْﻥَ
wallażīna āmanụ wa 'amiluṣ-ṣāliḥāti ulā`ika
aṣ-ḥābul-jannah, hum fīhā khālidụn
And those who believe and do good deeds,they are the inhabitants of Paradise.
They stay in it.
83
ﻭَﺍِﺫْ ﺍَﺧَﺬْﻧَﺎ ﻣِﻴْﺜَﺎﻕَ ﺑَﻨِﻲْٓ ﺍِﺳْﺮَﺍۤﺀِﻳْﻞَ ﻟَﺎ
ﺗَﻌْﺒُﺪُﻭْﻥَ ﺍِﻟَّﺎ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ ﻭَﺑِﺎﻟْﻮَﺍﻟِﺪَﻳْﻦِ ﺍِﺣْﺴَﺎﻧًﺎ ﻭَّﺫِﻯ
ﺍﻟْﻘُﺮْﺑٰﻰ ﻭَﺍﻟْﻴَﺘٰﻤٰﻰ ﻭَﺍﻟْﻤَﺴٰﻜِﻴْﻦِ ﻭَﻗُﻮْﻟُﻮْﺍ ﻟِﻠﻨَّﺎﺱِ
ﺣُﺴْﻨًﺎ ﻭَّﺍَﻗِﻴْﻤُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟﺼَّﻠٰﻮﺓَ ﻭَﺍٰﺗُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟﺰَّﻛٰﻮﺓَۗ ﺛُﻢَّ
ﺗَﻮَﻟَّﻴْﺘُﻢْ ﺍِﻟَّﺎ ﻗَﻠِﻴْﻠًﺎ ﻣِّﻨْﻜُﻢْ ﻭَﺍَﻧْﺘُﻢْ ﻣُّﻌْﺮِﺿُﻮْﻥَ
wa iż akhażnā mīṡāqa banī isrā`īla lā
ta'budụna illallāha wa bil-wālidaini iḥsānaw
wa żil-qurbā wal-yatāmā wal-masākīni wa
qụlụ lin-nāsi ḥusnaw wa aqīmuṣ-ṣalāta wa
ātuz-zakāh, ṡumma tawallaitum illā qalīlam
mingkum wa antum mu'riḍụn
And (remember) when We took a promise from the Children of Israel, "Do not worship other than Allah,and do good to parents,relatives,orphans,and the poor.
and pay zakat. ” But then you turned away,except a few of you,and you were disobedient.
84
ﻭَﺍِﺫْ ﺍَﺧَﺬْﻧَﺎ ﻣِﻴْﺜَﺎﻗَﻜُﻢْ ﻟَﺎ ﺗَﺴْﻔِﻜُﻮْﻥَ ﺩِﻣَﺎۤﺀَﻛُﻢْ
ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺗُﺨْﺮِﺟُﻮْﻥَ ﺍَﻧْﻔُﺴَﻜُﻢْ ﻣِّﻦْ ﺩِﻳَﺎﺭِﻛُﻢْ ۖ ﺛُﻢَّ
ﺍَﻗْﺮَﺭْﺗُﻢْ ﻭَﺍَﻧْﺘُﻢْ ﺗَﺸْﻬَﺪُﻭْﻥَ
wa iż akhażnā mīṡāqakum lā tasfikụna
dimā`akum wa lā tukhrijụna anfusakum min
diyārikum ṡumma aqrartum wa antum tasy-
hadụn
And (remember) when We took your promise, "Do not spill your blood (kill people),and drive yourself (your countrymen) from your hometown." Then you swear and testify.
85
ﺛُﻢَّ ﺍَﻧْﺘُﻢْ ﻫٰٓﺆُﻟَﺎۤﺀِ ﺗَﻘْﺘُﻠُﻮْﻥَ ﺍَﻧْﻔُﺴَﻜُﻢْ ﻭَﺗُﺨْﺮِﺟُﻮْﻥَ
ﻓَﺮِﻳْﻘًﺎ ﻣِّﻨْﻜُﻢْ ﻣِّﻦْ ﺩِﻳَﺎﺭِﻫِﻢْۖ ﺗَﻈٰﻬَﺮُﻭْﻥَ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻬِﻢْ
ﺑِﺎﻟْﺎِﺛْﻢِ ﻭَﺍﻟْﻌُﺪْﻭَﺍﻥِۗ ﻭَﺍِﻥْ ﻳَّﺄْﺗُﻮْﻛُﻢْ ﺍُﺳٰﺮٰﻯ
ﺗُﻔٰﺪُﻭْﻫُﻢْ ﻭَﻫُﻮَ ﻣُﺤَﺮَّﻡٌ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻜُﻢْ ﺍِﺧْﺮَﺍﺟُﻬُﻢْ ۗ
ﺍَﻓَﺘُﺆْﻣِﻨُﻮْﻥَ ﺑِﺒَﻌْﺾِ ﺍﻟْﻜِﺘٰﺐِ ﻭَﺗَﻜْﻔُﺮُﻭْﻥَ ﺑِﺒَﻌْﺾٍۚ
ﻓَﻤَﺎ ﺟَﺰَﺍۤﺀُ ﻣَﻦْ ﻳَّﻔْﻌَﻞُ ﺫٰﻟِﻚَ ﻣِﻨْﻜُﻢْ ﺍِﻟَّﺎ ﺧِﺰْﻱٌ
ﻓِﻰ ﺍﻟْﺤَﻴٰﻮﺓِ ﺍﻟﺪُّﻧْﻴَﺎ ۚﻭَﻳَﻮْﻡَ ﺍﻟْﻘِﻴٰﻤَﺔِ ﻳُﺮَﺩُّﻭْﻥَ
ﺍِﻟٰٓﻰ ﺍَﺷَﺪِّ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺬَﺍﺏِۗ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪُ ﺑِﻐَﺎﻓِﻞٍ ﻋَﻤَّﺎ
ﺗَﻌْﻤَﻠُﻮْﻥَ
ṡumma antum hā`ulā`i taqtulụna anfusakum
wa tukhrijụna farīqam mingkum min
diyārihim taẓāharụna 'alaihim bil-iṡmi
wal-'udwān, wa iy ya`tụkum usārā tufādụhum
wa huwa muḥarramun 'alaikum ikhrājuhum,
a fa tu`minụna biba'ḍil-kitābi wa takfurụna
biba'ḍ, fa mā jazā`u may yaf'alu żālika
mingkum illā khizyun fil-ḥayātid-dun-yā, wa
yaumal-qiyāmati yuraddụna ilā asyaddil-'ażāb,
wa mallāhu bigāfilin 'ammā ta'malụn
Then you (the Children of Israel) killed yourself (your neighbor),and expelled a group of you from their hometown.
You help each other (confront) them in evil and enmity.
And if they come to you as captives,you redeem them,even though you are forbidden to drive them out.
Do you believe in some of the Book (Torah) and disbelieve in some (others)? So there is no recompense for those who do this among you other than disgrace in the life of this world,and on the Day of Resurrection they will be returned to the most severe punishment.
And Allah is not heedless of what you do.
86
ﺍُﻭﻟٰۤﻯِٕﻚَ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﺍﺷْﺘَﺮَﻭُﺍ ﺍﻟْﺤَﻴٰﻮﺓَ ﺍﻟﺪُّﻧْﻴَﺎ
ﺑِﺎﻟْﺎٰﺧِﺮَﺓِ ۖ ﻓَﻠَﺎ ﻳُﺨَﻔَّﻒُ ﻋَﻨْﻬُﻢُ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺬَﺍﺏُ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﻫُﻢْ
ﻳُﻨْﺼَﺮُﻭْﻥَ
ulā`ikallażīnasytarawul-ḥayātad-dun-yā bil-
ākhirati fa lā yukhaffafu 'an-humul-'ażābu wa
lā hum yunṣarụn
Those are they who buy the life of this world for the Hereafter.
So their punishment will not be lightened,nor will they be helped.
87
ﻭَﻟَﻘَﺪْ ﺍٰﺗَﻴْﻨَﺎ ﻣُﻮْﺳَﻰ ﺍﻟْﻜِﺘٰﺐَ ﻭَﻗَﻔَّﻴْﻨَﺎ ﻣِﻦْۢ ﺑَﻌْﺪِﻩٖ
ﺑِﺎﻟﺮُّﺳُﻞِ ۖ ﻭَﺍٰﺗَﻴْﻨَﺎ ﻋِﻴْﺴَﻰ ﺍﺑْﻦَ ﻣَﺮْﻳَﻢَ ﺍﻟْﺒَﻴِّﻨٰﺖِ
ﻭَﺍَﻳَّﺪْﻧٰﻪُ ﺑِﺮُﻭْﺡِ ﺍﻟْﻘُﺪُﺱِۗ ﺍَﻓَﻜُﻠَّﻤَﺎ ﺟَﺎۤﺀَﻛُﻢْ
ﺭَﺳُﻮْﻝٌۢ ﺑِﻤَﺎ ﻟَﺎ ﺗَﻬْﻮٰﻯٓ ﺍَﻧْﻔُﺴُﻜُﻢُ ﺍﺳْﺘَﻜْﺒَﺮْﺗُﻢْ ۚ
ﻓَﻔَﺮِﻳْﻘًﺎ ﻛَﺬَّﺑْﺘُﻢْ ﻭَﻓَﺮِﻳْﻘًﺎ ﺗَﻘْﺘُﻠُﻮْﻥَ
wa laqad ātainā mụsal-kitāba wa qaffainā
mim ba'dihī bir-rusuli wa ātainā 'īsabna
maryamal-bayyināti wa ayyadnāhu birụḥil-
qudus, a fa kullamā jā`akum rasụlum bimā lā
tahwā anfusukumustakbartum, fa farīqang
każżabtum wa farīqan taqtulụn
And verily We gave Moses the Scripture,and sent it after it with messengers,and We gave Jesus the son of Mary the proofs,and strengthened him with the Holy Ghost.
Why is it that every messenger who comes to you (bring) something (lesson) that you do not want,you boast,then some of you deny and some of you kill?
88
ﻭَﻗَﺎﻟُﻮْﺍ ﻗُﻠُﻮْﺑُﻨَﺎ ﻏُﻠْﻒٌ ۗ ﺑَﻞْ ﻟَّﻌَﻨَﻬُﻢُ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪُ ﺑِﻜُﻔْﺮِﻫِﻢْ
ﻓَﻘَﻠِﻴْﻠًﺎ ﻣَّﺎ ﻳُﺆْﻣِﻨُﻮْﻥَ
wa qālụ qulụbunā gulf, bal la'anahumullāhu
bikufrihim fa qalīlam mā yu`minụn
And they said, "Our hearts are closed." No! Allah has cursed them for their disbelief,but few of them believe.
89
ﻭَﻟَﻤَّﺎ ﺟَﺎۤﺀَﻫُﻢْ ﻛِﺘٰﺐٌ ﻣِّﻦْ ﻋِﻨْﺪِ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪِ ﻣُﺼَﺪِّﻕٌ
ﻟِّﻤَﺎ ﻣَﻌَﻬُﻢْۙ ﻭَﻛَﺎﻧُﻮْﺍ ﻣِﻦْ ﻗَﺒْﻞُ ﻳَﺴْﺘَﻔْﺘِﺤُﻮْﻥَ
ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﻛَﻔَﺮُﻭْﺍۚ ﻓَﻠَﻤَّﺎ ﺟَﺎۤﺀَﻫُﻢْ ﻣَّﺎ ﻋَﺮَﻓُﻮْﺍ
ﻛَﻔَﺮُﻭْﺍ ﺑِﻪٖ ۖ ﻓَﻠَﻌْﻨَﺔُ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪِ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟْﻜٰﻔِﺮِﻳْﻦَ
wa lammā jā`ahum kitābum min 'indillāhi
muṣaddiqul limā ma'ahum wa kānụ ming
qablu yastaftiḥụna 'alallażīna kafarụ, fa
lammā jā`ahum mā 'arafụ kafarụ bihī fa
la'natullāhi 'alal-kāfirīn
And when they got to them the Book (Qur'an) from Allah confirming what was in them,while before they asked for victory over the disbelievers,it turns out that when they got to them what they knew,they denied it.
So the curse of Allah is on those who disbelieve.
90
ﺑِﺌْﺴَﻤَﺎ ﺍﺷْﺘَﺮَﻭْﺍ ﺑِﻪٖٓ ﺍَﻧْﻔُﺴَﻬُﻢْ ﺍَﻥْ ﻳَّﻜْﻔُﺮُﻭْﺍ ﺑِﻤَﺎٓ
ﺍَﻧْﺰَﻝَ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪُ ﺑَﻐْﻴًﺎ ﺍَﻥْ ﻳُّﻨَﺰِّﻝَ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪُ ﻣِﻦْ ﻓَﻀْﻠِﻪٖ
ﻋَﻠٰﻰ ﻣَﻦْ ﻳَّﺸَﺎۤﺀُ ﻣِﻦْ ﻋِﺒَﺎﺩِﻩٖ ۚ ﻓَﺒَﺎۤﺀُﻭْ ﺑِﻐَﻀَﺐٍ
ﻋَﻠٰﻰ ﻏَﻀَﺐٍۗ ﻭَﻟِﻠْﻜٰﻔِﺮِﻳْﻦَ ﻋَﺬَﺍﺏٌ ﻣُّﻬِﻴْﻦٌ
bi`samasytarau bihī anfusahum ay yakfurụ
bimā anzalallāhu bagyan ay yunazzilallāhu
min faḍlihī 'alā may yasyā`u min 'ibādih, fa
bā`ụ bigaḍabin 'alā gaḍab, wa lil-kāfirīna
'ażābum muhīn
Evil is they who sell themselves,denying what Allah has revealed,out of envy that He sends down His bounty to whom He wills of His servants.
That is why they bear wrath after wrath.
And for those who disbelieve,there will be a humiliating punishment.
Our hearts are closed.
